What do you Want?

“If you don’t have a vision you’re going to be stuck in what you know. And the only thing you know is what you’ve already seen.”

Iyanla Vanzant

In a world consumed by soul destroying busyness, it becomes increasingly important to think about and plan for the future with imagination and wisdom by developing a vision that not only fuels your activity, but also drives,  energises and inspires your core.

For many, creating a vision is an intellectual enterprise that is often limited to material and positional conquests.

Don’t be most people. Take the time to craft yourself a love note of hope. Create the sacred opportunity to explore the furthest corners of your mind and the depths of your soul for your hidden hopes, dreams, desires and aspirations.

Take your time with it and give yourself permission to colour as far outside the lines as you’d like. Put your logic and inhibition in safe storage. You can always collect it later on. For now, your only concern is uncovering the dreams you harbour and what your vision and wishes are for this year.

If you’re up to it, read the letter out loud to someone or even to the wind. Give your vision a chance to live somewhere other than in your mind. Who knows what might happen when you ventilate your dreams past your lips!
